LearnMelanoma.org helps in early detection of skin cancer by teaching the participants to distinguish benign moles from those suspicious for cancer. The purpose of this study is to explore the nature of memory formation.

These are voluntary research studies conducted by Dr. Nicholas Cepeda, PhD and Dr. Hal Pashler, PhD from the Psychology Department at the University of California, San Diego, and by Dr. David Peng, MD from the Division of Dermatology at the University of California, San Diego.

Panellists should be over eighteen years of age. They are sent pictorial questionnaires through email. The studies are conducted in a phased manner over a period of time. Respondents gain entry into prize draws.
